Dr Satoe Nakahara was appointed to a researcher of the Open Science Project on September 1, 2018. She is a cultural anthropologists and has studied radioactive refugees in the Marshall Island for years. In this project, she is going to conduct a participatory observation of the community building for waterweed recycling in the Lake Biwa catchment. She has also joined the Core Member Board to operate the project with Project Leader Dr Yasuhisa Kondo.
